Room 212 – A Hub of Local Art & Creativity on Gloucester Road
Room 212 is a vibrant shop and gallery showcasing Bristol art, craft, and design by a talented mix of local artists—including me, Hemali Modha, the new owner. I’m a local resident, artist, and former owner of the award-winning Amulet Boutique, and I’m thrilled to be continuing the creative legacy of this much-loved space right here in the heart of Gloucester Road.
You’ll find a carefully curated selection of original paintings, prints, handmade gifts and more – all made by local talent. Many of our artists also take commissions, so if you’re looking for something unique, get in touch.
We stock simple black or white frames to fit most of our print sizes, making it easy to take your new artwork straight home and up on the wall.

Room 212 has long been known as an Aladdin’s cave of creativity and is a go-to destination for original, meaningful gifts and Bristol-made art. We’re proud to be part of the Glos Rd Central community—a thriving stretch of independent shops and galleries on Gloucester Road.

Room 212 is part of Glos Rd Central, a lovely collection of shops on the mid section of Gloucester Road at the top of 'Pigsty Hill'. Gloucester Road is the longest street of independently owned businesses in Europe, including shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Room 212 runs free community events for Glos Rd Central traders such as Mayfest and the Christmas Street Party
